Space Saving Small Appliances

Appliances as we all know, take up about half of our counterspace, between coffee makers, blenders, mixers and other smaller items such as microwaves and clocks,. any kitchen, but particularly a smaller kitchen, one which is short on counter top area to begin with, can benefit from the new technologies in appliances that is moving us toward more space saving, or under counter appliances.

Many of these fit into the slot that is normally wasted space, the underside of the cabinets, where they are bolted or screwed in place so that the countertop remains usable space for other items.

Among the countertop appliances that have been reworked to be made into space saving smaller appliance are coffee makers, microwaves, and even television clock combinations for the kitchen.

Let’s face it. If your countertops are anything at all like mine they are stuffed to the edges with counter top appliances, so much so in fact that the newer models have been gaining in popularity over the past few years, which means, they have been going down in price the past few years as well.
Not only are their now under counter microwaves, they also have added can openers, popcorn makers, coffee machines an even things such as computers now fit into slots under your countertop.
In addition to under cabinet mounted appliances there are also the three in one, or two in one appliances that combine several of the things we use each morning such as coffee makers, fry pans and ovens, which are combined into one unit for space saving.
Take a trip to your local home improvement store and see just what kinds of offerings they might have for your unused countertop or under counter area.
