Buying A Cat Bed
Completely tired of clearing the cats spittle off your favorite velvet bedspread, or seeing him scratch your furniture as he rolls and tosses in his sleep.
While its always a good idea to teach the dog and cat not to sleep on the sofa, you canof course buy them their own bed, something comfortable with space enough to stretch out, that is uniquely their own, to replace those things of yours that you’re trying to keep fur free.

The tent bed is comfortable and also stylish
Older dogs and cats particularly need to have their own bedding that is well cushioned to provide for the joint pain that can accompany getting older for a pet, and keeps them up off the floor, and more supported than the sofa or your bed.
When purchsing a bed for your cat, you should consider the following things prior to purchasing what can be a medium or higher priced item for the home.
Much as you would not purchase a bed for yourself that would not let you stretch out all the way, you don’t want to buy one for your cat that is too small to permit them to stretch out full length, yet not so large that it isn’t warm enough to permit them to cuddle down in the bed and bedding.

This variety gives the cat the option of sleeping under the hiding spot or above it in the basket
Watch how your pet sleeps on a normal day.
If he or she stretches out, get a bit larger bed but make sure that you get a pet nest, or a cuddler pillow so that they have space enough but remain warm.
Remember to add a bit of extra room if your puppy or cat is still growing, so that they can use it longer, as they grow up.
Consider the fiber also that is used to make your pets bed. The best fiber that you can get for bedding is the microvelvet or microsuede, which will not only repel pet hair, but also repel dirt and moisture, to make it easy clean and easy care. Also, consider purchasing a sheet or two to place over it so that when one gets dirty you can replace it with the second and not have to launder the pet bed so often.
The last thing to consider is a cushion. No one, not me and not you, wants to sleep on a hard uncomfortable bed.
Neither does your pet.
If you want the cat to use the bed you are spending money to profice make sure that its soft and comfortable so that it will keep them comfy and warm, otherwise you might just be wasting your effort in buying it.
One good way to get the cat to use the bed, particulary if its a bit older cat, is to hide a pouch that is filled with catnip inside it under the cushion so that the smell attracts them to want to lie in the bed.
