Garage Floor Treatments
You have a lot of options in floor treatments for your garage. So before shopping, let’s do some in-home education starting with Epoxy. This is a very fast and affordable way to make your garage floor look better, but it’s not overly durable . Depending on the traffic in your garage and how you utilize that space, the epoxy may begin to chip in a short time, leaving you with having to strip and reapply the product.

Garage Flooring comes in a variety of styles
A second option is a floor mat. If you simply use your garage as a storage space and your vehicle a basic floor mat that channels water is just fine. This is an incredibly easy solution that offers firm footing too. If you know you’ll utilize that space as a shop too, then you might want a heavier duty mat, but you’ll still have something that works perfectly and look nice. The mat protects the garage floor from most chemicals and scratches. And forget being overly stylish. Basic black is your best friend in a garage mat, and it won’t break the bank
The third option is floor tile. In some parts of the tile it’s recommended you consider buying vented tile (like under the car). This lets any snow, oil, etc. drain away leaving the rest of the floor cleaner. Bear in mind that tile is a pretty expensive way to go in a garage. So unless you use that space regularly for entertaining or other functions, shop around and consider a floor mat instead.
